Lesson Policies – Musical Experience Learning Center (2026)

1. Lesson Structure

Enrollment includes four (4) private lessons per month, each 30 minutes in length, scheduled weekly.

2. Tuition & Payment

Monthly tuition for private lessons is $160, due on or before the 25th of each month. A $10 late fee will be applied to payments received after the 1st of the month. Pre-payment options may be available and are outlined during enrollment. Tuition is non-refundable.

3. Attendance & Tardiness

Students are expected to arrive on time for all scheduled lessons. Late arrival does not extend lesson time.

4. Absences & Make-Up Lessons

If a student will miss a lesson, parents or guardians must notify the studio in advance. Make-up lessons are offered at the studio’s discretion and subject to availability. There are no refunds or credits for missed lessons.

5. Withdrawal & Lesson Cancellation

Written notice is required to discontinue lessons. MELC reserves the right to discontinue or cancel lessons at its discretion.

6. Student Commitment

By enrolling, students agree to practice assigned material weekly, arrive prepared and on time, and bring required materials to each lesson. Consistent practice is essential for progress.

7. Parental Responsibility & Safety

Parents or guardians are responsible for their children while on studio premises. MELC is not responsible for students before or after lesson times. Students must remain inside the building unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

8. Instructor Absences

If a lesson is canceled due to instructor absence, the lesson will be made up at a later date.

9. Photography & Marketing

MELC may take photos during lessons, recitals, or events for promotional use. If you prefer that your child not be photographed, please notify the studio in writing.

10. Holidays

The studio is closed on the following holidays. No make-ups are provided on these dates:
• New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day (July 4)
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

11. Policy Updates

MELC reserves the right to update policies, fees, or procedures as needed.
